Fred Clark's problems continue to grow ...August 8, 2011 0 Comments
The campaign of Democrat Fred Clark (running against Republican incumbent Luther Olsen) has been plagued by personal issues, including:
- Running a red light & injuring a bicyclist (rated "true" by PolitiFact)
- Driving record that includes speeding, previous accidents, driving with a suspended license (also verified by Politifact)
- Being behind on his child support payments, and only catching up when running for Olsen's seat
And now, something at least equally damaging, courtesy of WisconsinReporter.com: Fred Clark sold his home, valued at a maximum of $217,000 -- for $320,000 to "Heavenly Hills LLC," a company that was only 10 days old -- and whose ownership is unknown. For some reason, Clark has been unavailable for comment.
Who owns the home? Does Clark pay rent, since he continues to live in the home? Why was he paid more than $100,000 above its' value, in the worst housing marking in recent memory?
I'm just asking. Why aren't area reporters?
